Red Star Miniatures
Red Star Miniatures will not be present at Salute 2011 with a trader stand, but the entirety of our range will be represented by Empress Miniatures at the stand TA28.
We will be at Salute but with our wargaming club “Les Chemins de Feu” and a participation game entitled “Rescue in Grozny” at the GA27 stand. The game will see all our miniatures in action in a story about a Russian armoured column trying to force his way through Grozny streets in Chechnya to rescue some Hostages.
For those interested, we can take pre-order via email for the HLBS range of Russian vehicles and deliver them to you at Salute.
Twilight Miniatures
The World of Twilight will once again be attending Salute this year, with a much larger demo game and a slightly larger stand. I’ve been working hard over the last few months to get a bunch more sculpts ready, so there will be lots of new releases. I’ll post details of all the new releases and deals over the next week or so, but for the moment I would like to share a couple of previews of those releases that I will have at Salute.
For those who haven’t heard of it, the World of Twilight is a quirky little fantasy skirmish game, set in an alternative setting without any of the usual suspects (including humans) where the diminutive Fubarnii struggle against the predatory Devanu.
First up we have the Herder Light Cavalry, which were sculpted by Mark Craggs. These will be released with throwing spears as standard, but Mark has done a bunch of alternative arms and equipment that will be available as an upgrade pack.
By Fubarnii standards, Captain Danomar is an imposing character, bringing the Fubarnii Empire some more powerful cavalry, leading the heavily armoured Knights of Relan

Total Battle Miniatures is a new company whose initial range will be 15mm WWII Western Front. The range will be comprehensive and will contain both intact and damaged versions of every building. The wide variety of buildings purposely made at varying heights make for a very realistic looking village or town while all giving a very Western European feel. The buildings have been designed to accommodate Flames of War bases where possible, this does not mean they cannot be used for any number of other rule systems however. Great Escape Games
Clash of Empires will be released at Salute on April 16th. Contact us to reserve a copy to pick up, or contact 1st Corps, Gripping Beast or Magister Militum who will be doing some show offers in conjunction with the release. These are the only sellers who will have stock of the rule book at Salute. The book is full color, hardback and 192 pages. It is priced at £25.
In the rulebook are lists for the Early Imperial Romans and their enemies in the West. The first army list book will cover Early Achaemenid Persia to the death of Alexander. Many army lists will be free to download from the web. They will be official, but will be living lists reviewed by us and the wargaming community. Some of these will go to print, but many will stay on the website as free downloads. The rulebook also contains rules for four different scenarios, including elements such as terrain placement, terrain types, army initiative, and flanking maneuvers. London's ExCel Centre hosts Salute 2011 on Saturday, 16th April, and Forge World will be in attendance with a sales stand bursting with resin kits, modelling supplies and books from both the Forge World and Warhammer Forge ranges.
We are now taking reservation orders for Salute. To place a reservation, please telephone the Forge World customer service team on 0115 916 8177. You'll need your payment card details to hand, as we are taking payment in advance of the event, and we will also need an email address for you. In the week before the event, we'll send you a confirmation email containing your order number and a total cost that you must bring with you to collect your order.

Warbases
Warbases are pleased to announce the release of our church at Salute 2011. In finest Warbases tradition, the church is available as a flat pack kit which allows you to build the basics for an old English Church suitable for many gaming periods. The kit has been designed to be suitable for a small 25mm church or a large 15mm one. At a sensible £15 per kit we hope that this will be a popular buy at Salute.
The kit can be made up with a removable roof as pictured and when painted will make a stunning centre piece for your gaming table. We have a number of new releases for Cobalt-1 planned for release at Salute on 16th April.
Due to rising costs from suppliers, I am going to have to finally bite the bullet and put up the prices of Black Hat Miniatures figures. The price increases will apply from April 1st, 2011. In order to encourage people to pre-order for the Salute show on April 16th, I will honor the current prices for any Salute pre-orders paid for in cash on the day. Please pre-order early for Salute, as I am casting the majority of ranges to order at the moment. If your order includes Coat D'arms paint, this will be discounted by 10% as well. Many thanks!
Magister Militum
We will (subject to sculpting being finished on time and moulds arriving both of which are 99% certain) be releasing 10mm Napoleonic Dutch/Belgian, Nassau and Brunswickers for Salute (artillery, cavalry and infantry). We also should have the first of the Spanish (again cavalry, artillery and infantry) and possibly even penninsular Portuguese released by the show.
We also are releasing 15mm Napoleonic Later Austrian Infantry (in helmet, shako and jaegers) along with reworked French Revolutionary cavalry and command (Chasseurs, Hussars, Cuirassier with and without breastplate, Grenadiers a Cheval and Consular Guard/Carabiniers).
We have three new 10mm buildings which will be out for Salute, a Roman villa/farm, slave/workers quarters and barn.
We hope to have good stock of the new items from Acheson Creations in stock by then although that may be something better checked with us in a couple of weeks to see if they have arrived (lots of 28mm dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures).
Finally we are going to be carrying stock of the Lead Adventure range by Salute, some very nice Victorian Sci Fi and Post Apocolyptic figures.

In 2010 we sold out of our remaining stocks very quickly, and while we have just re-stocked please pre-order if you can so we know how many to bring along.

We have formed Sphere Products as a manufacturing and sales brand aimed at hobbies of interest to us. We have been selling a range of paint racks that we have designed since December last year and interest is starting to grow. We are hoping to increase the interest by having our stand at Salute.
